First of all, I just came across this sweet photo I took way back on Valentine’s Day of this year. Mike sent me flowers while he was out on tour and the arrangement promptly found its way to our vintage cake stand table to greet all of our newly engaged couples touring the venue for the next week. Aren’t those flowers so lovely?
The two cake stands in the photo are actually antique cast iron parlor stove bases with glass tops and they are included with all of our rentals! I guarantee you will not find cake stands like this anywhere else! You can use them both or just one (or neither, if that’s your fancy) and they are great, not only for cakes, but cookie, donut and cupcake spreads. I love seeing what couples come up with for their desserts! We keep them on this table so they can be well lit by those antique funnel lights suspended through the rustic ladder just overhead.
Early on in the construction process on Dimebox Ballroom, TJ surprised us with the light/ladder fixture and it’s a perfect showpiece to set off the dessert spread and serves as a beautiful backdrop in photos.
Also! I wanted to invite all of you to the next Austin Bridal Extravaganza which happens to be this Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 12-5pm! We’ll be there and we have a great special going on for first time bookers that visit the Bridal Show. Don’t miss out (also, brides get free admission!). So come on out and let’s chat in person about your big vision for your day. Can’t wait to meet you!
